  How is one supposed to distinguish in conversation whether someone is saying they love something or whether they just like it? For example “J’aime beaucoup le pizza ( I really like pizza) J’aime manger le poivre chaud avec ma pizza ( I like to eat hot peppers w/ my pizza)”
  How does one convey that they just like these things and not love them, in French?

  vous is used when speaking to more than one person or in a situation like a student speaking to his/her teacher. tu is used when you know someone really well like a friend to a friend or a student to a student or so on.

  your tutorial is very good. but unfortunately, there are so many silent characters in the french language that it was difficult for me to learn it. On the other hand, I was learning Spanish and picked it up in no time
