Hey Larissa, I like this video also. You have a wonderful smile! I hear that pushing your stomach out is very useful in aiding the diaphragm to draw the lungs full. I was also reading elsewhere that habitually holding your breath speeds up your heart rate – my eye twitches like crazy when I have been holding my breath, but after some proper breathing I don’t look like a psychopath anymore Keep up the great work, your enthusiasm is both charming and infectious.

I sing in schurch and this exercise really helped me, lay down on the floor place a book on your stomach where your diaphragm is take a deep breath, try sucking the air in as if you are sucking through a straw or tube and think of filling the entire space with air, as you release the air do a da scale as in (going up)da aaaa (then down) aaaa then repeat going up scale don’t strain your voice but push yourself stop if you feel winded or if your vocal chords hurt, hope that helps
