No, if you use your common sense, she said START because she cant control her breathing, so when she ended the the phrase, she left some air to keep coming out, and it produced a sound, that its too close to a T (you need your tongue to produce the t, but still anyone will recognize it as start, even more if STAR ends with an R, which makes the point of the tongue go back, and with a soft sound)
Ya, and blabla, thats what I asked, cos she not only cant sing in tune, she cant follow the lyrics
@nolashrv: if you were listening and using common sense, you’d notice that she’d started saying “take a breath” after “star”, but took a breath (shocker) before actually saying it. THAT’S why it sounds like start.
and that “blah blah blah blah” is “up above the”. she’s just not using proper articulation in the least.
hah! thanks for making this video!! now..i’m learning from it:)
@ MGmonkeys44
It means what is a star
“what you are?”
What is a star.
@MGmonkeys44 he was just helping shit, or she
she teaching how to sing, not the song
hah…all the comments below mine are hilarious… it was fun reading them all XD
As for the video….. idk what to say.. whatever happened to “phrasing”?
you suck. bye.
it is not how i wonder “what” you are it is “where” you are what you are dosen’t make any sense.
You have a point. The exercise have a mental effect + that it involves the body.

she has really really good singing i hope if i get a vocal coach it will be like or close to her
well i have been goin to a vocal coach and he tells me sum of the same thing she does you no yal are goin back and foth with this but everyone has a differnt voice and sings differnt so if you dont like the wat she did it dont watch it no one is perfect even big famous singers need practice n work the mess up too
I is a “style” they like but it is NOT correct. They do it to sound asif they are crying.
sing it girl!
thanks but how can u singing up higher with out crcking thats what have some times or when u singing louder and higher u crack
i have a Good question than any body here…. uhmm…. is a professional singer will let her audience hear her breathe co’z i dont get use to it… is that just ok? …. coz i hear many singer breathe in theyre album …. i dont know if its right ^..^
not from her, unless by learn you mean you know this is NOT what you have to do when you sing
she is good
anyway, I know much about singing ( I’m a singer, not proffesional was would be that) and I didn’t say she did it right, I seid I learned something.
I never said that I thought she was good. All i said was what she clearly had said while singing. All I was really saying is that everyone shouldnt be so critical. Would you like it if someone criticized you on your singing and said how horrible you were Mr. “Professional Opera Singer”?You dont have to get all anal I was just being nice and you dont have the right to call me ignorant you asshole. I think you might have a huge stick stuck up your ass.
thats the problem….since you know nothing, you “think” you learned
But her phrasing example is terrible bad, she didnt gave any tip for you to improve your phrasing, and she did a lousy phrasing…….in fact THE OPPOSITE of what any well trained musician will do (cut the phrase every 2 bars is ANTI-musical in this kind of music)
i’m not sure the words r correct, but there wasn’t any ”bla bla bla” eather. anyway, the words r not really important. important is if you learned something from it or not, and I did.. (now I’ll say the words more correctly.. haha)
