I am in dire need of good free anti-virus software, because my computer is getting owned by viruses right now.

I would recommend using McAfee, AVG, or Avira. all of them are free. i have used all three and personally i like Avira better and thats what i use and i havent had any problems with it. good luck with those viruses =[
