@metalmeister5582 What the hell are you on about? Hemp products are not illegal. You can walk into a craft or hardware store and buy hemp twine. You can also buy hemp clothes and other cloth items at various small stores. Its obsolete, not illegal. We found better things to use for oil, cloth, and so on, that has nothing to do with why smoking cannabis is illegal. If that were the case, vacuum tubes and phonographs would be illegal just because they are obsolete.
@Mandolinpossum Being “harmful” had nothing to do with it. If that were the case, cigarettes, alcohol, and fried foods would also be illegal.

@califinn That makes absolutely no sense. It was made a crime because it was believed to be harmful and cause people to go insane and commit crimes, which is obviously not true. However, saying that it’s the Americans’ fault is stupid. It’s illegal in many European countries as well, and would actually be highly profitable to legalize and capitalize on, even if another country grew it. Before you go “hating on the man” make sure you’re hating them for the right reasons.
