A few nice metal images I found:

Heavy Metal Lover

While shopping this afternoon, I stumbled across a set of metal beads in silver and gold tone- the kind of bead charms meant for a charm bracelet- and I realized they would be the perfect size for doll bracelets.

I came right home and threw together these outfits and this photoshoot, and viola! Heavy Metal Dynamite Girls!

Raquel, my ‘Electropop’ Dynamite Girls Rufus Blue, in a top and short-shorts by Fashion Royalty. Fur wrap by Fashion Fever. Shoes by Barbie Basics. All bracelets are repurposed people-sized jewelry.

Day 9 – Marking metal to deter theft in Sandwell – West Midlands Police

The Sandwell Metal Theft Team is using a portable heavy duty inkjet printer to mark metal and other property.

Schools and churches are common targets for thieves, so the gun is being used to mark items such as railings, boilers and memorials.

Scrap dealers are being warned to look out for scrap being sold bearing the markings, or anything that shows evidence of having had markings removed or defaced.

This image forms part of the West Midlands Police ‘Photo of the Day 2012′ project.

We will be adding a new photo every day of the year to highlight the breadth of work carried out by police officers and staff across the West Midlands.
