There is NO classical music and definitely NO opera in Harry Potter or any of the “superhero’ movies.
you are confusing classical music with soundtrack. This is unacceptable..off with your head! lol, joking.
But you really shouldn’t mix up the two. They’re two very distinct genres with diferent styles and artists.
Classical artists include Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Wagner, Brahms, etc
Soundtrack brings to mind the likes of James Horner, Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer,
Classical music can and is used in movies in some cases, however, like Beethoven’s 9th in Clockwork orange and Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyries in Apocalypse now. Not very common, but not unheard of. There is NO classical music in ANY superhero or Harry Potter movie though. When it is used in movies, classical music remains classical.
I have also noticed that trailers make use of classical in rare cases, especially “in the hall of mountain king” by Edvard Grieg. Usually though, trailers use the movie soundtrack.
Hope that helped
It’s not “Classical” but frankly, it was probably the most appropriate place to ask about film scores (a.k.a. “movie music.”) Most people think I listen to Classical when I listen to film scores.
That said, I have some recommendations.
Steve Jablonsky (Recommended scores: Transformers 1, The Island)
Brian Tyler (Recommended scores: Children Of Dune, Tokyo Drift)
Harry Gregson-Williams (Recommended scores: Narnia [Lion, Witch, Wardrobe and Prince Caspian], Metal Gear Solid 4 [video game])
Kenji Kawai (Recommended scores: Vampire Princess Miyu)
John Williams (Recommended scores: Jurassic Park 1 & 2, Harry Potter)
Hans Zimmer (Recommended scores: The Lion King, King Arthur, Gladiator, PotC)

I just noticed that you mentioned trailer music, too. That brings in a plethora of artists. You can find most if not all of this music on YouTube. (Most trailer music isn’t commercially available.)
