Samsung Galaxy S6 Active Review

Lisa Gade reviews the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active on AT&T. This is the rugged version of the Galaxy S6, and it has a hard plastic outer shell rather than fragile glass. It’s rated MIL-STD-810G for water resistance down to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes, and it’s dust resistant. It’s also shock resistant up to a 4 foot drop onto a flat surface. The S6 Active has a higher capacity battery (3500 mAh vs. 2550) and it’s available with 32 gigs of storage (there are no higher storage variants). Otherwise the specs are the same as the Galaxy S6: 5.1” QHD display, 2.1 GHz octal-core Exynos, 16MP and front 5MP cameras, dual band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, GPS and wireless charging support built in. It sells for $695 full retail and $199 with a 2 year contract. It’s exclusive to AT&T in the US. ** Read our full written review here:
