yea to make sequal and also idk if you have but in HALLOWEEN the remake
the girl shoots the killer guy and now i heard HALLOWEEN 2 is coming out! HELLLO!! she shooot him on the head!
they seriously are lame because it gets boring but ohh well!
mainly to franchise the character. if the masses go for it then they make another movie then another, perfect eg is freddy krugger and jason morheys as well as Michael myres
Because the only people who could possibly kill the killer is already dead.
And it would be boring if the antagonist gets killed…typical ending where the good guys end up happy and the bad guys were just crazy so everything’s good.
Like in No Country for Old Men, Anton Chigurh CAN be killed but he’s too smart for all of them and if he died at the end the movie would be pointless.
Look, everyone knows that if you want to kill a monster/psycho all you have to do is shoot him/it in the head or chop off it’s head! Works all the time. The trouble is we are gullible and allow them to pawn off this silly shit time after time! You know logic doesn’t come into play in the horror movies because all the producers care about is sequels! Nuff said?
It makes the film more traumatizing and real, and undefeatable. I think it interests more people who are into gorey stuff xD.
The main reason why the “killers” always seem invincible is so the production company can make more money on a whole series of movies. However, there are filmmakers who believe that its more scary for the audience to feel that the killer can’t be killed. It’s practically a fact that Supernatural movies are more frightening then Slasher flicks, that’s why a show like Ghost Hunters can stay on the air for so long.
