They pushed it as some sort of epic “dark” movie using “Welcome Home” in the trailor, but its nothing more than a cliche Tim Burton, kids movie. The only thing dark about it is that everything is brown and black. It hit just the right length for me to be think I’m glad it did not drag out any longer but it was short enough for me to feel robbed.

I’m surpised I haven’t heard one comparison to The Secret Of Nimh because I think that’s the big movie I would compare this to. I thought it was a good movie, it wasn’t too long, had some great voiceover work, and some cool looking animation. Low FULL PRICE!
Very good storyline, and very good creativity. I enjoyed the graphics. One thing I noticed was, I think I have the same kind of ideas for something of my own. Not like the same creative idea, just that darkness that I hope brings a light out in people. The only thing I disliked about it was… It went too fast. Very few levels of suspense, became somewhat predictable, and I was kind of hoping for more from the ending. However, though it has those points, it was worth seeing for me.

You guys are the fucking shit, and I mean that in the most complimentary way possible. And I don’t usually use profanity. But there’s no other way to describe the bomb-diggityness of your reviews. I’m typing this as the next one buffers, but I intend to watch every single one of your uploads. FANTASTIC animation, too! I’ve watched about a dozen so far, and have LOLed at least once every time.

They should have spent more times with the characters, as the plot itself would have worked out fine imo, although being fairly over-used. SPOILER BELOW!
yet I really loved that scene where that robot thingi just waltzed against them when they played “somewhere over the rainbow”, I was like HOLY SHIT! =0
I think that the movie was ok… the effects were great but they didn’t give you a real chance to really connect with the characters so you didn’t feel the proper emotions when they died.
They are potatoe sack with SOULS!

Good news 9 fans!
I heard the director – Shane Acker – say that he’d love to do another 9 film after he’s worked on another film. He wouldn’t agree with the Spill Crew more about the flaws they pointed out. I think if he just rebooted the movie like Marvel did with Hulk and are doing with Spidey would make this a ‘Full Price!!’ or ‘Better Than Sex!!!’ film for certain and hopefully get Shane the awards and recognition he deserves coz i love his work.
