I only know Hitler got elected to office under democratic institutions. Any similar examples? Controversial ones, like GWB, do not count. I want leaders who are INDIPUTABLY evil/incompetent/corrupt. Thanks.

Hitler wasn’t elected. He was appointed. The Nazi party, on the other hand, was.

According to Saddam he had 100% of his citizens vote and 100% voted for him. I cannot think of a better answer.
Hitler seized power after the Reichstag’s fire, he was never elected dictator. Many nations do however hold phony elections. I can still remember Dan Rather fawning all over Saddam after he won his election with about 99% of the vote.
That would be W. Bush. (Of course it is disputable as to whether he actually EVER legitimately won an election)
